Prototype development
Here, ideas become road-ready vehicles
HWA’s prototyping division develops vehicles, components, and technical concepts that are directly linked to real-world implementation. From initial individual parts to fully roadworthy vehicles, prototypes for race cars, road cars, and special-purpose vehicles are created in an environment that seamlessly integrates development, workshop operations, and testing.
This results in vehicles that are not only designed but also built, tested, and refined under real-world conditions.
From assembly to testing
Development, workshop, and testing take place in a closely integrated environment designed for complex vehicle and special projects.
Prototypen für die Straße und die Rennstrecke
From GT race cars to high-performance road cars, we develop road-ready prototypes for a wide variety of vehicle concepts and applications.
Comprehensive vehicle conversion services from a single source
Mechanical, electrical, powertrain, paint, and carbon fiber composite work are all carried out directly as part of the prototype development process.
Testing as part of the development process
Vehicle assembly, technical development, and testing are integral parts of the entire prototype development process.
01 — Prototypes for the road and racing
Prototype construction produces vehicles at various stages of development that provide direct insights into design, packaging, and subsequent production implementation. Changes can be evaluated and adjusted at an early stage and implemented directly on the vehicle.
This results in development vehicles that closely resemble their eventual operational and driving conditions.

02 — Complete Vehicle Conversion
In addition to conventional prototype vehicles, we can also produce custom-built vehicles and small production runs. Our existing production and development infrastructure allows us to implement a variety of vehicle concepts within the same environment.
This results in solutions that go far beyond mere demonstration or show vehicles.
03 — Testing and Technical Development
Vehicles are not evaluated solely through digital means, but are further developed directly during assembly, driving, and testing. This allows components, systems, and vehicle behavior to be analyzed and adjusted at an early stage under real-world conditions.
This enables rapid development cycles and direct feedback between the vehicle, testing, and technical development.
