Proprietary vehicle architecture
The HWA EVO is not a traditional reinterpretation of a donor vehicle, but rather a comprehensive technical redesign of an icon. While certain components were deliberately carried over, nearly everything else—including the structure, electrical system, powertrain, and vehicle systems—was developed from the ground up.
Transaxle design
The HWA EVO’s transaxle architecture was designed to take traction, driving precision, and vehicle balance to a whole new level. The repositioning of the motor and transmission creates a nearly perfectly balanced weight distribution that enhances power delivery, steering response, and control under load—resulting in exceptionally precise handling.
Development with motorsports DNA
The HWA EVO was developed to combine an uncompromising driving experience with state-of-the-art high-performance technology. The suspension, aerodynamics, vehicle tuning, and overall vehicle development are based on decades of motorsports experience — engineered for direct feedback, high precision, and maximum control.
Driving Dynamics and Safety Systems
In collaboration with Bosch Engineering, systems such as ESP, ABS, and traction control were specifically developed and tuned for the HWA EVO. Form follows function.
The design is inspired by the characteristic silhouette of the original and has been further developed both aerodynamically and structurally. Wide wheel arches, precise lines, and functional aerodynamic elements enhance performance and stability at high speeds.
