Gordian von Schöning

CTO

After his studies in Automotive Engineering, Power Train and Chassis, Gordian von Schöning gained his first experience as an engine evaluation developer at Mercedes-Benz HPE (F1). The journey at HWA AG started in 2007. For nine years he was involved in different positions related to the vehicle development of DTM and GT-cars. In 2016, he joined BMW in its DTM project. Next, he was Director of Business Unit Sport and Engineering at ITR e.V.  On November 1st, 2020 he returned to HWA AG and he has been Head of Development Performance Car and was appointed to the Executive Board of HWA AG on August 1, 2023. As CTO he is responsible for development and sales.
